Whole Hasegawa Clan toured Maui Island of Hawaii on December 30 2000 to January 4 2001. This is the photo album, shot with Minolta X-700 and scanned from paper prints.

My daughters, Ayako, left, and Naoko, right, on the pool side of the Westin Maui hotel at Kaanapali Beach.

(From left to right) My son Takao, daughter Naoko, Akio and late my father Tatsuo at age 84, ditto on the pool side of the Westin Maui hotel at Kaanapali Beach.

Late my father Tatsuo at age 84 then was still curiosity-driven and went sea bathing with us at Kaanapali Beach.

Sunset was beautiful at Kaanapali Beach.

We rented Ford Explorer and drove on the north shore to Kahakukoa Head at the northwest end.

Early in the morning of January 1 2001 we reached the summit of Haleakala, 3055 meters, on rented Fords.

Landscape of the summit, reminiscent of the Planetary Society's slogan "Together to Mars", and
my son Takao (right) and Masao's son Tetsuo (left) are kidding, acting "Being blown off by gale!"

During this trip, we were driving on this Ford Explorer (1) from airport to Kaanapali, (2) from Kaanapali to Kapalua, Kahakuloa, Kahului, Maalaea to Kaanapali, (3) from Kaanapali to Kahului to Haleakakala, again from Kahului to Paia to Keanae, and back to Kaanapali.

On January 2 2001 we strolled through Lahaina.
